ensure a tight connection. Tightening the clamp too much can damage the hose.
Fasten the smaller diameter hose to the pump inlet (III). Secure the connector with the clamp in
the same manner as the outlet hose connector.
The pump is ready for use.
Pumping the oil
Check the amount of oil in the oil sump in the vehicle documentation and prepare a waste oil
tank with appropriate capacity. It is recommended to use a larger capacity tank.
Start the vehicle's engine and heat the oil to the temperature specifi ed in the technical data
table. Stop the vehicle engine.
Place the pump on a fl at, level and hard surface so that it does not move spontaneously during
pumping.
Carefully remove the oil dipstick. Oil on the dipstick can be hot, avoid contact with it.
Insert the smaller diameter suction hose into the dipstick socket. The end of the hose should
reach the bottom of the oil sump.
Insert the end of the larger diameter outlet hose into the waste oil tank. Make sure that the
hose does not slip out of the tank while pumping. If necessary, fasten the hose in a manner not
limiting its diameter.
Make sure that the pump switch is in the off position – O and connect the power cord terminals
to the battery terminals. Connect the terminal clamps of the power cord keeping the correct
polarity. The terminal clamp marked "+" should be connected to the battery terminal marked "+".
The terminal clamp marked "-" should be connected to the battery terminal marked "-".
Turn the pump on by fl ipping the switch to the "on" position - I. The pump will start pumping oil.
Observe the pump at all times during operation. The oil pumping capacity depends on its den-
sity, viscosity and battery capacity. The higher the density, viscosity and the lower the battery
capacity, the lower the pump capacity.
If oil no longer escapes from the outlet hose, switch off the pump using the switch. Dry-running
the pump can lead to damage to the pump.
Pull the inlet hose out of the dipstick connector and place it in the tank with clean oil. Run the
pump for the time necessary for clean oil to fl ow out of the outlet hose. This will clean the inside
of the pump. Leaving the pump with contaminated oil will shorten its service life.
Switch off the pump, disconnect the battery terminals, remove the ends of the hoses from the
oil tanks, and then proceed with maintenance.
Note! The duration of continuous operation of the pump should not exceed 30 minutes. After
this time, the pump must be switched off and allowed to cool down.
MAINTENANCE, TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
Clean the housing of the pump with a slightly damp, soft cloth, then dry the housing or leave it
to dry. Check the permeability of the ventilation openings and, if necessary, clean it with a soft
brush, a soft plastic brush or a compressed air stream at a pressure of not more than 0.3 MPa.
Do not use sharp objects, abrasives, caustic agents, alcohol or solvents to clean the device.
Remove the hoses from the pump and gravitationally remove any residual oil from the pump.
Store hoses in tightly sealed plastic packaging resistant to engine oil. This will prevent contam-
ination from oil residues.
Store the product disassembled in dry, shaded and well-ventilated places. Ensure that the stor-
age room protects the device from unauthorised access, especially by children. It is recom-
mended to store and transport the product in the packaging it was delivered in.
