Use grinding belts only whose
max permitted speed is equal to or
higher than the machine's idle belt
speed!
Install clean grinding belts only.

Release the contact arm by pressing the knurled nut, and
insert the grinding belt.
At the two knurled screws, optimise the belt travel while it
is running, and then secure the concact arm in place. Let
the tool run without load for at least thirty seconds.

Using the clamping pin, install the drive roller on the an-
gled head spindle.

PERaTIoN
Attach the belt grinding attachment, and secure this in
the position you want with the screw. Tighten the screw
only slightly!

Loosen (but not remove!) the knurled nut. Replace the
contact arm, and retighten the knurled nut.
