1.2. Power Cord and Other Cables
Do not roll up or pull the cord to disconnect
the appliance, and do not wrap it around the
appliance. Keep the cord away from warm
surfaces.
Never use the appliance if it has a damaged
cable or socket, or if it is not working properly.
If the power cord is damaged, do not use your
appliance. Take it to technical assistance for
replacement.
Ensure that the supply cord does not beco-
me wedged during the installation. If the su-
pply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or simi-
larly qualified persons, in order to prevent a
hazard.
1.3. Humidity and Water
Do not use your appliance in humid places.
Do not allow the appliance to become wet un-
der any circumstances, as this may be dan-
gerous. TO AVOID FIRE HAZARD OR ELEC-
TRIC SHOCK, DO NOT EXPOSE YOUR AP-
PLIANCE TO HUMIDITY OR WATER. Do not
place your appliance under water (for exam-
ple, to wash it).
1.4. Cleaning
Before cleaning, make sure the appliance
is switched off and the plug is disconnected
from the mains power supply.
Always allow the unit to cool down before
cleaning.

Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp
metal scrapers to clean the oven door glass
and other surfaces since they can scratch the
surface, which may result in shattering of the
glass or damage to the surface.
Do not use steam cleaners for cleaning the
appliance. You should be careful to avoid
scratching while cleaning, as the glass may
break.

• The appliance and its accessible parts may
become hot during use. Care should be
taken to avoid touching heating elements.
• Unattended cooking on a hob with fat or oil
