CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING: If fluid gets into the pump area, wipe unit off with
dry cloth and let the unit sit for 5 minutes while in an upside
down position. After 5 minutes run pump for 2 minutes without
nebulizer kit installed.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE OF THE
NEBULIZER KIT
A. Open the nebulizer, remove the micronization cone (blue
color) from the chamber (pic. 31).
B. Boil the chamber and the top and the cone in water (max. 5
min.) or autoclave them (max. 121°C, max. 10 min).
C. Drain the components, assemble and insert into the unit.
D. Turn on the device and let it run freely for about 5 minutes.
This operation will dry the components and will prevent accumula-
tion of residual medication which could obstruct the air/medication
passage.
ATTENTION
• The nebulizer kit should be replaced approximately after
6 months of use, or if the nebulizer kit does not operate
properly.
• Only use manufacturer's original replacement nebulizer
kits.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE OF MOUTHPIECE
A. Boil in water (max. 5 minutes) or autoclave (max. 121°C,
max. 10 min.).
