Controlling the Device

AC Power Connections

The Lighting device uses an IEC AC power input receptacle with in-line fuseholder.
WARNING:
Make sure that all AC Power is turned off before making power connections.
Make sure the total current draw from all units does not exceed the capacity of the AC Mains supply.
Do not use with Dimmers
The AC mains power supply must be grounded, and the mains connection to the Lighting unit must use a 3-pin power cord.
The power must be disconnected before checking or replacing the in-line fuse.
Controlling the Device
The device can be controlled in the following ways:

Stand Alone
2.
Master/slave
3.
DMX control
4.
IR Remote Control
Stand Alone
The device can be used on its own, without a DMX controller
1.
Use the AUTO menu to select from 3 different automatic show modes
Use the STRO menu to select from 20 stroboscopic shows
2.
Use the DERB menu to select customized color and strobe frequency for the derby
3.
Use the SOUN menu to select sound activation of the internal shows
4.
Master/Slave Control
1.
Connect the device(s) with DMX cable(s) as shown in the DMX Control section. Note: In order to prevent interference, connect less
than or equal to 32 units at one time.
2.
Set the master unit:
2.1. Press MENU of the first device and select MASL
2.2. Press ENTER
2.3. Use UP and DOWN to select MAST
2.4. Press ENTER (now the first unit is the master)
2.5. Press MENU and select any AUTO, STRO, DERB, or SOUN mode
2.6. Press ENTER
2.7. After 5-10 seconds of inactivity, the show mode will be activated
From AC Mains
3.
Set the slave unit(s):
3.1. Press MENU and select MASL (use the same operation on all slave units)
3.2. Press ENTER
3.3. Use UP and DOWN to select SLAV
3.4. Press ENTER to confirm

DMX Control
To use a DMX controller to control the devices, the ADDRESS menu is used to set the DMX address code of each device (the address code
range is between 1-512) so that the devices can receive the DMX signal. The DMX operation can be 2 or 6 Channels.
1.
Connect the output port of your DMX Controller to the DMX input port of the first device, and connect the DMX output port to the
DMX input port of the second device, and so on, until all units are connected
2.
In the ADDR menu for each device, enter the address code that matches your DMX controller
3.
In the CHAN menu, select from 2 or 6 channels, depending on your controller or preference
4.
The DMX Controller can now control the devices

DMX connection requires terminal (loop connection)
During the installation process, if the signal line is laid a long distance, or in a noisy environment, such as a dance hall, it is recommended
to use a DMX terminal (loop connection). This can reduce any interference to the digital control signal by electrical noise.
The DMX terminator consists of a simple XLR connector with pin 2 and 3 connected to a 120 Ω resistor. Please insert the terminator into
the XLR output port of the last device, please refer to the figure below.
