3 Installation and Configuration

3.1 Scope of Delivery

APR320
AC power cable
AC/DC power adapter
USB cable
Note:
If purchased, the RS232 cable will also be included in the package.

3.2 Putting the Printer for First Use

3.2.1 Installing Ribbon

1 Open the control panel.
2 Install the ribbon.

Death or serious injury due to electric shock
Contact with parts that carry a live current can lead to death or injury.
1 Only use the approved METTLER TOLEDO power supply cable and AC/DC adapter. Do
not connect the AC/DC adapter to other devices other than the printer, otherwise,
damage to other devices may occur.
2 Connect the power cable to a grounded power outlet, ensure correct polarity.
3 Keep all electrical cables and connections away from liquids and moisture.
4 Check the cables and power plug for any damage and replace damaged cables and
power plugs.
5 Ensure the power outlet where the power cable is connected is easily accessible.

1 Tighten the ribbon by turning in the direction of the arrow shown on the ribbon.
