FORMATTING THE CARD/MEMORY:

Enter the Setting mode menu as shown on page 42. Select Format Card to format the
inserted Memory card (if no card is inserted, select Format memory to format the internal
memory) using the Navigation/Zoom/OK control. Then press the Navigation/Zoom/OK
control; the Format Card/Memory menu will appear with the year highlighted. Select YES
to format/ erase or NO to NOT format/erase using the Navigation/Zoom/OK control. Then
press the Navigation/Zoom/OK control.
TV SYSTEM:
When connecting the unit to a TV using the AV/Headphones Out jacks,
select the TV System used in your area.

Enter the Setting mode menu as shown on page 42. Select Sound using the
Navigation/Zoom/OK control, then press the Navigation/Zoom/OK control; the Sound
menu will appear. Select NTSC or PAL, depending on the system used on your TV using
the Navigation/Zoom/OK control. Then press the Navigation/Zoom/OK control.
NOTE: USA useds the NTSC system.
