ETTING TARTED
ATTENTION:
The suction air flow simultaneously cools the micromotor.
You should therefore always have the suction on when using
the device.
Continual use without suction is not permitted for
more than 5 min.
4. Foot switch or continually adjustable pedal (options):
Available accessories include a foot switch (ON/OFF), or a
continually adjustable pedal. They are connected to the device via
the "foot switch" socket (16) at the rear of the device. The device
can be turned on using the simple foot switch (ON/OFF), i.e., by
pushing on the foot switch, the device is turned on with the set
speed and suction power. The handpiece and the suction turbine
are turned off when the foot is removed from the foot switch.
The pedal lets you adjust the speed continually and sensitively.
The set settings act as the "pre-selected" or maximal settings. The
foot can therefore adjust the speed up to the speed shown on
the display. You can also turn button (8) onto its maximum
setting to be able to access the entire speed range with the foot
pedal. When the foot is removed from the pedal, the motor is
turned off and suction stops.
