5. Trim underbody panel & heat shield – Using a tape measure, marker, tin snip, and utility knife, measure, mark, and trim the area on the panel and heat shield as
shown in Figure 3 & 4.

6. Install hitch – . Feed the carriage bolts ① and spacers ② to attachment holes through access holes using the pull wires ⑤, see Figures 1 & 2. Leave pull wires
attached. Reinstall the trimmed heat shield with (1) nut at trunk pan stud location. Raise the hitch into position and feed the pull wires through bracket holes.
Remove pull wires and loosely install conical washers ③ and hex nuts ④ to the hitch.
