3. Remove heat shield – Using a 10 mm socket, remove (3) nuts from exhaust heat shield. Remove the heat shield.
4. Enlarge holes – Using a flat head screwdriver, remove rubber plug and cover from rearward attachment holes and access holes, both sides. Using a grinder, enlarge
the forward attachment hole diameter to 1/2" on both sides, see Figure2.
