ATTENTION
Please read these operating instructions carefully before using the emergency hammer.
In an accident or in an emergency situation, the operation of the emergency hammer should be clear.
USAGE
This emergency hammer is used for fast and safe rescue at e.g. a car accident.
The emergency hammer made of impact-resistant housing serves as a robust window breaker and a
sharp seat belt cutter for immediate release from the seat belt.
SAFETY INFORMATIONS
•
Do not allow children to play with the emergency hammer or its packaging.
•
Attach or store the emergency hammer in an easily accessible location.
•
When attaching the emergency hammer, make sure that no cables or other non-visible
components can be damaged. If you have any questions about the mounting position, ask the
vehicle manufacturer or a qualified person.
•
It is best to choose a rear or side window as an emergency exit, windscreens are made of
laminated glass and cannot or it is much heavier to destroy.
USE
•
In case of emergency, pull the emergency hammer above the
hammer head out of its holder.
•
Hit with short, strong blows a rear or side window (not windscreen)
suitable as an emergency exit (fig.2).
•
Remove the rest of the window with foot (fig.3)
•
Leave the vehicle or recover the injured person through the window.
•
If the seat belt cannot be unlocked, tighten the seat belt and cut it
with the belt cutter, integrated in the emergency hammer (fig.1).
