SET THE HOME TIME AND DATE
The home time (1 time zone) is your local
st
time.
Important: The red 24-hour indicator is
always set at the 24-hour scale on the bezel,
while the hour hand is set on the dial index
markers. In order for the date to properly

the current hour on the
bezel scale and the minute-
hand to the current minutes
on the dial. Then push the
crown back into position 2.

current time.
Note: The changeover between summertime
and wintertime is done in the crown position 3.
Set the current date using

the hour hand by rotating
the crown. The red 24-hour
hand does not move.
Intentionally position the

hour hand by rotating the
crown to the current hour
(index marks) a.m. or p.m.
5 Press the crown against
the case and simultane-
ously turn clockwise until
it is firmly secured.
SET THE SECOND TIME ZONE
If you travel to another time zone (e.g., from
London to Tokyo), set the hour hand to Tokyo
time (e.g., 4:10 p.m.). The red 24-hour hand
remains untouched, so the home time (e.g.,
7:10 a.m. in London) can be read on the bezel
scale.

(Tokyo in this example). The
date moves automatically.
* Travel west: counterclockwise
Travel east: clockwise
3 Press the crown against
the case and simultane-
ously turn clockwise until
it is firmly secured.
SET THE THIRD TIME ZONE
The monopusher can be used to set a third time
zone using the rotatable scale (e.g., New York
– 5 hours west from home time in London).

Set the monopusher at W

(west).
Press the monopusher

according to the number of
time zones (five in this
example) and then push it
back to its neutral position.
In the example, the red 24-hour hand shows
New York time on the rotatable scale and home
time of London on the bezel scale.
