· Keep warm function:
– Only before the boiling process of 70, 80 and 90°C you can select the keep warm function.
– Select the desired temperature with the selection button. Then press and hold the ON/OFF button until
you hear an acoustic signal and the corresponding control lamp lights up.
– As soon as the preset temperature is reached, an acoustic signal will sound and the control light will
blink. As long as you leave the kettle on the base plate the water temperature will be kept at the
selected setting (max. 30 minutes).
– At a boiling temperature of 100 °C the kettle switches off immediately.
· Always unplug the appliance after use and allow the appliance to cool down.
· When pouring the water, keep the lid closed. Risk of scalding! Touch the kettle by the handle only and be
careful not to come into contact with the hot steam.
· Attention: If you fill in too little water (below the 500 ml marking), the service life of the heating coil can be
shortened. If you put too much water in (above the MAX marking), the water can boil over and cause
scalding.
Automatic Safety Cut-Off
The kettle is fitted with an automatic cut-off to prevent overheating, in case there is no or not enough water.
If this should occur, switch off the kettle, remove the mains plug and wait for approx. 10 minutes. Thereafter
fill it with water up to the 500 ml marking at least, reinsert the mains plug into the socket and switch on the
kettle as normal.

Cleaning and care

· Always pull out the power cord before cleaning and allow the appliance to cool down.
· Do not use any sharp or pointed objects, benzine, solvents, scrubbing brushes or abrasive cleaning agents
for cleaning.
· Wipe the kettle and the base plate with a soft, slightly moistened cloth only.
· Attention: Never immerse the water kettle, the base plate, the cable or the plug in water or other liquids
and do not clean these parts in the dishwasher, as this can cause a short circuit.
· Make sure that the kettle and the base plate are completely dry before using the water kettle again.
