7. CHANGING THE BATTERY IN THE
REMOTE CONTROL
a) Remove the cover from the battery
compartment as shown in Fig. 6.
b) Insert only CR2023 batteries, matching the
poles correctly.
c) Put the cover back on.
Remember that batteries are
not household waste. Spent
batteries must be disposed of
in the special containers
provided.
8. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
• Before cleaning, press the (2.1.)
button to ensure that the fan is off and
unplug the appliance.
• If you want to take the appliance down for
cleaning, reverse the assembly
instructions.
• DO NOT SUBMERGE IT IN WATER.
• Apply a few drops of lubricant on to the
motor shaft to avoid corrosion.
• The blades can be cleaned in warm water
with a little gentle neutral soap.
• They can also be cleaned with a slightly
damp soft cloth.
• The external part of the motor can be
cleaned with a slightly damp soft cloth.
• Do not use solvents or abrasive products
to clean the fan.
