The PTO is driven straight from the engine and its operation is totally independent of walking tractor
advancement.
The speeds can be selected by means of the PTO mode selector control lever (2), (Fig. 8-9) which has two
positions:
NORMAL WALKING TRACTOR version: speed 310 rpm (clockwise) at a 3600 rpm engine rate.
WALKING TRACTOR version WITH FRONTAL IMPLEMENT: speed 925 rpm (clockwise) at a 3600 rpm
engine rate.
The PTO can be activated in the following way:
1) Disengage the clutch by pulling the clutch lever (3), (Fig. 8-9)
2) Move the PTO lever (2), (Fig. 8-9) to the desired position.
3) Gradually release the clutch lever (3) and accelerate the engine.
WARNING
- Start the engine with the PTO lever in neutral position.
- When the PTO is not used, move the PTO lever to neutral position.
