Zebra Label Printer Configuration
3. Setup Print Template
In order to print through the Zebra printer, the scale has to initialize the printer at the beginning of the print
template by placing the following commands in String 1:
^XA
(This command should not be changed as part of any customization.)
Each line after String 1 can be either a Regular Content line of text or a Barcode Content. Each printed
item will require 3 strings to be used in order. Defender 5000 (TD52) offers 10 editable strings, which limits
a label to 7 lines of text and/or barcoding, and requires a final string to end the print template in the
Defender 5000. Ranger 7000 offers 20 editable strings, which allows more lines (max 17) of text and/or
barcoding.
Regular Content line of text uses the following format:
^FO60,120^A0N,40,20^CI0^FDCustomized
Where:
^FO is the beginning of string
60
