Remove the side panels and secure the remote and hoses (29- to 31.5-inch doorway only)
1. Using the provided 6mm Allen wrench, remove the screw/washer that secures the front of the right-hand side panel (Fig.7).
2. Locate the small zippered pocket at the top of the side panel, adjacent to the top of the speaker.
3. Open the zippered pocket and, using the provided Phillips-head screwdriver, remove the screw that secures the top of the side
panel (Fig.8).
4. Lift up and forward on the side panel to disengage it just enough to expose the air hoses along the bottom and speaker wire at the
top. TIP: Rest the side panel on the chair frame to make the next step easier (Fig.9).
5. Disconnect the hoses and speaker wire, then remove the side panel from the chair.
6. Repeat steps 1 – 5 on the left-hand side panel; however note that there is an additional connector on the left-hand side panel that
must be disconnected before you can remove the side panel – we will address that next.
7. Insert the provided screwdriver into the slot on the top of the side panel connector to release it, then disconnect the connector.
IMPORTANT: Do not attempt to disconnect the connector without first releasing it or you may damage the wiring (Fig.10).
8. Remove the side panel from the chair.
9. Open the zipper on the front of the seat cushion and tuck the remote inside for safekeeping while moving the chair.
10. Tuck the air hoses on both sides and the left-hand side panel connector into the chair frame for safekeeping while moving the chair.
