NOTE: When taking a distance measurement by laser, the distance
measurement will be taken from the Distance Reference Base of
the tool which is located at the rear of the tool, as indicated by the
symbol displayed on the LCD screen.

Measuring length
1. Turn the tool ON. The tool will default to the Laser Measuring
Mode. Press the Main Button

2. Aim the laser at the target you would like to measure. The current
measuring value will be displayed on the bottom line of the LCD
screen. During continuous measuring, the measuring tool can be
moved relative to the target, while the current measuring value
is updated accordingly in the bottom line of the display. In this
manner, as an example, the
user can move from a wall to a
pre-determined distance, during
which time the actual, changing
measurement will be displayed
continuously.
3. Press the Main Button
to stop the continuous
measurement. The laser is
turned off and the current
measured value is held and
displayed in the bottom line of
the LCD screen (Fig.4).
