g. Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc., in
accordance with these instructions and in the manner
intended for the particular type of power tool, taking
into account the working conditions and the work to be
performed. Use of the power tool for operations different
from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.
5. Service
a. Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair
person using only identical replacement parts. This will
make sure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.
Addition safety instructions for the AutoClamp
Do not use for load bearing applications. The tool is not
designed for supporting loads. Failure of the tool under load
may cause personal injury or damage to property.
Do not use for any application where the tool is supporting
the body weight of the operator, assistant or visitor. Failure
of the tool under load may cause personal injury or damage
to property.
Do not drop the tool or subject it to impact during use.
Damaged tools may cause accidents or result in a hazardous
situation.
Do not clamp materials overhead. Falling materials may
cause personal injury or damage to property.When relieving
the clamping force, the material may be free to shift. Always
control the material movement.
Do not use to clamp materials subject to heat or flame.
Damage to the tool may result from the application of heat
or flames, e.g. when using a heat-gun to remove paint from
the clamped material.
Do not use for clamping over extended periods of time. The
tool may be used for temporary fixings only. Materials may
compress or creep over time reducing the clamp force and
allowing movement.
Clamped materials may move unexpectedly. Unexpected
movement of the work piece may cause personal injury.
Movement may occur when applying side loads to clamped
materials, e.g. when cutting with a jigsaw. Use additional
fixings to prevent movement.
Do not use clamp to lift materials. The clamp is not designed
for this purpose and the materials may fall from the jaws.

Always insert batteries correctly with regard to polarity (+

same time with new batteries of the same brand and type.
Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
Remove batteries if the device will not be used for several
months.
Under extreme conditions, battery leakage may occur.
When you notice liquid on the batteries, proceed as
follows:
- Carefully wipe the liquid off using a cloth. Avoid skin
contact.
- Never attempt to open for any reason.
- Do not store in locations where the temperature may
exceed 40 °C.
- When disposing of batteries, follow the instructions
given in the section "Protecting the environment".
- Do not incinerate the batteries.

Installing the batteries (fig. A)
Warning! Use AA size batteries only. Use alkaline batteries
only.
Loosen the screw in the battery compartment cover (8)
using the small end of the supplied screwdriver (3).
Pull the compartment cover down and out.
Insert four new alkaline AA batteries, make sure to match
the (+) positive and the (-) negative terminals correctly.
Push the compartment cover (8) back into position.
Retighten the compartment cover (8) screw.
Do not clamp materials overhead.
