General usage guide for transferring pictures and other type of files
Windows Users
Transfer data to and from the memory card. Copy, paste, delete or drag and drop data files as you would with any other
disk drive, such as floppy disk, hard disk, zip disk or other storage disk.
1. Double-click on "My Computer" on the desktop
2. Double-click on the appropriate "Removable Disk"
drive letter
3. Double-click on the DCIM or DCimages folder
(May vary depending on camera)
4. This folder will contain the picture files or a folder
containing the picture files (depending on your
camera)
To save pictures to your computer from the Removable Disk:
1. Locate or create a destination folder you wish to
transfer the picture files to on your computer
(i.e. create a new folder on the desktop)
2. Open the folder containing the picture files on the
Removable Disk Drive in the ImageMate
3. Go to the edit menu and choose select all
(this will highlight all of the picture files)
3. Go to the edit menu and choose COPY
4. Go to the destination folder
5. Go to the edit menu and choose PASTE
6. The pictures will be COPIED to the
destination folder
