9. Unlock the seat rails and then manually slide both bottom rails (1) into the centre position.
10. Activate the express down mechanism.
11. Vent the vehicle's air system.
Warning (risk of entrapment):
There is a risk of your fingers being crushed or trapped when lowering the seat and moving the
bottom rails!

12. Loosen and remove the two cross-head screws (3).
13. Pull the cover (4) upwards. To remove the cover, pull the two half shells away from each other.
14. Put the cover and the screws aside so that they can be reused during the installation of the RECARO
seat.
15. Disconnect the air connection (1) on the floor.
16. Disconnect the seat's electrical plug connections (2).
17. Carefully lift the seat out of the vehicle and place it next to the vehicle.
