3.3 Removing the standard seat

Caution:
Before starting the removal process, check to ensure that your vehicle is parked safely and that
you will always have a good foothold whilst carrying out the work.
Important note:
Remove the standard seat together with seat rails and the belt lock from the vehicle.
The new screws supplied in the kit must always be used to secure the RECARO seat in place.

1. Open the storage compartment flap. Loosen and remove the four cross-head screws (2) from the
storage compartment (1) (cross-head screwdriver).
2. Remove the storage compartment
3. Place the storage compartment and the screws safely aside so that they can be refitted after the
RECARO seat has been installed.
