Connecting to the power supply
BBA242x and BBA242xx for hazardous zones
In hazardous zones only certified power supply units must be used.
BBA242x PANDA-EX1P certified power supply unit
BBA242xx HK-CP07-A12 certified AC adapter
➜ Strictly observe and follow the instructions in the separate instal-
lation instructions for the PANDA-EX1P certified power supply unit
or HK-CP07-A12 certified AC adapter.

For normal environment use the AC adapter included.
CAUTION!
Damages to the device!
▲ Make sure that the voltage printed on the AC adapter is the same
as the local power supply voltage.

1. Connect the AC adapter to the socket of the scale.
2. Insert the plug of the AC adapter into the power supply outlet.
• When the scale has been connected, it performs a display test and
then the sofware version is displayed briefly.
• As soon as the weight display appears, the scale is ready for op-
eration.
