Transmission station and transmission station with pre-
assembled, integrated microprocessor driven control.
The transmission station is supplied with a detailed in-
struction manual of the control manufacturer
When using the transmission station with electronic flow
sensor, the installation of the filling and flushing device is
recommended.
Safety notes
The safety notes are to be observed.
Installation, initial operation, maintenance and repairs have
to be carried out by authorised and qualified trade persons.
(VDE, EN12975 & DIN 4807)
Attention!
In case of a back-flow of heat from the storage cylinder to
the collector circuit, the permissible excess working
pressure in the pipework between the storage cylinder
and the pump group can be exceeded!
• All ball valves within the solar station (supply and return ball
valves as well as the compensation valve) and the collector
circuit (e.g. filling and flushing device) must be re-opened
once filling and flushing is completed
• All ball valves must remain open during operation
• During maintenance and repair, a warming up of the storage
cylinder must be prevented by switching off the boiler.
• The connection between the storage cylinder and the solar
station must be prevented by an additional safety valve
and/or a diaphragm expansion tank
Installation notes
The transmission station is supplied pre-assembled. The
compression fittings are to be ordered separately.
The transmission station always has to be mounted at a low-
er level than the collectors so that no steam may penetrate
the expansion tank in case of stagnation.
If the expansion tank is mounted at the same or at a higher
level, a hydronic siphon is required. The installation has to be
flushed with fresh water after each draining operation.
The transmission station is not suitable for direct contact
with swimming pool water.
The transmission station with deaerator is equipped with a
vent pot for the deaeration of the heat transfer medium.
Assembly notes
1.1 Remove transmission station from the packaging.
Pull the front insulation (1) over the control retainer (2)
whilst pushing the latter against the back insulation (3).
Now the control retainer can be pulled off the back
insulation together with the control (4). Loosen the plug
connection of the cable at the pump (5).
Remove transmission station (6).
1.2 For each wall mounting device (7), drill 8 mm holes at a
distance of 262 mm.
Fix mounting device by screwing it onto the wall and en-
gage back insulation. Now push transmission station on-
to the fixing clips of the wall mounting device.
When connecting "Regusol" stations to flexible pipe-
works (e.g. corrugated metal hoses), we recommend to
use not only the wall bracket supplied with the station but
also the locking shackle, item no. 136 90 90.
