3. ASSEMBLY AND CONNECTION

This module mounts on DIN rail and is powered by bus KNX.
The location and assembly of this module must fulfill the electrotechnic current regulations. For
the assembly on DIN rail follow the diagram instructions (Fig. 1).
The KNX-Airzone gateway connection to the Airzone power station will be made through the
automated bus of the central power. The Airzone's power station must have Address of
system 1. The connection is made by means of a 5 pins connector. Fit wires with the screws
on the connector, paying attention to the associated color and letter code (Fig.2).
The connection with the Airzone's automated bus at the power supply level will cause the
lighting of the red LED (fixed light) that indicates this connection is made correctly.
Note: The gateway connection with the automated bus does not imply the power supply of this device, but it will be
necessary for its correct operation.
Connection to the KNX bus will be made by means of KNX standard connector. Please, respect
the wire polarity of the bus with which it is indicated in the gateway (Fig. 3). The KNX-Airzone
gateway will be connected to the KNX TP-1 bus using the device KNX standard connector
(red/black). The bus KNX connection involves the gateway power supply, which will cause the
blinking of the gateway activity LED.
Both physical connections are isolated from one another through the gateway, protecting
themselves from possible discharges in both buses.
