Insert the crimp contact of the 4-wire yellow on the connector for the inside right tail light into
chamber 1 and then click it into place.
Insert the crimp contact of the 4-wire white on the connector for the inside right tail light into
chamber 4 and then click it into place.
Insert the crimp contact of the brown vehicle wiring harness on the connector for the inside right tail
light into chamber 3 and then click it into place.
Insert the crimp contact of the black-blue vehicle wiring harness on the connector for the inside right
tail light into chamber 6 and then click it into place.
Insert the crimp contact of the black-white vehicle wiring harness on the connector for the inside
right tail light into chamber 7 and then click it into place. RHD only!
Insert the crimp contact of the black-white vehicle wiring harness on the connector for the inside
right tail light into chamber 8 and then click it into place.
Run of the remaining yellow cable end on the left-hand side along the vehicle wiring harness
forwards to the connectors for the onboard supply control unit (BCM).
Unlock the onboard supply control unit (BCM) slot "C" connector housing and then pull the
connector strips out of the housing casing. First remove the cable ties at the cable outlet of the
housing.
Push the socket contact of the vehicle's wire out of chamber 9 of connector "C" using a suitable
release tool.
Push the socket contact of the vehicle's wire out of chamber 3 of connector "C" using a suitable
release tool and insert it into the now available chamber 9 of connector "C" and then click it into
place.
Insert the loose socket contact of the vehicle's wire out of chamber 9 of connector "C" into the
available chamber 3 of connector "C" and then click it into place.
Insert the socket contact of the yellow 4-wire wiring harness into the available chamber 6 of
connector "C" and then click it into place.
Re-insert the multipoint connectors into the housing casing, lock them into place and secure with
cable ties and then re-insert connector "C" of the onboard supply control unit (BCM) and then
click into place.
Completely re-close the secondary interlocks of the four tail light plugs. When doing this,
ensure that the contacts are correctly fitted in the housing!
In the event that the wiring and the signal wire assignment on the vehicle do not
unequivocally coincide, comparison with the current flow diagram may be necessary.
"Signal assignment comes before signal colour". We reserve the right to correct typing errors
Route all wiring harnesses of the installation kit along existing vehicle wiring harnesses, secure with
the supplied 140 mm cable ties and / or insert in the existing cable runs.
Refit all trim parts and any parts removed.
