Vehicles Equipped w/OEM Factory Electric Brake Control:
NOTE: If the vehicle is equipped with a factory OEM Electric Brake
Control, the harness will have to be disconnected to utilize the
functions of the OEM connector. Take note that disconnecting the
OEM Electrical Brake Control will make the controller in-operable.
3. Separate the vehicle connectors taking care not to damage the
locking tabs.
All Vehicles:
4. Plug the Brake Control

vehicle harness connector,
ensuring that the locking tabs
engage (Fig. 4).
5. P lug the opposite end of the

brake control wiring harness into the vehicle's mating connector
located during step 2, ensuring that the locking tabs engage.
6. Confirm correct operation with a test light or by using a trailer.
7. S ecure any loose wires using cable ties (not provided).
