Calibration error position
Failure when the Stand offset should be stored in the EEPROM.
An invalid position is read from the transducer.
Several readings from the transducer with the Stand in the same position.
IC INFORMATION
Shows the version numbers for the IC's mentioned.
MSP = 1IC550 (MSP3410D), HIP = 1IC100 (TDA9321H),
PICTP = 1IC300 (TDA9178), HOP = 1IC350 (TDA9330H),
MTXT = 1IC500 (SDA5275-2).
SERVICE COUNTERS
AUDIO = audio mode, the EHT voltage is off.
EXT.AUDIO = extended audio mode, the EHT voltage is off but there are
supply voltage on all other TV circuits.
VIDEO = audio/video mode.
ON = shows how many times the TV has been turned on from stand by.
The counter is shown in times*10. The number is given in full tens.
SOUND ADJUSTMENTS
LEFT and RIGHT TREBLE/BASS are for future use.
AVC = Automatic Volume Control, can be set to OFF when measuring in
the audio circuits. The AVC is set to ON when the TV has been turned off
by means of the mains switch.
TEXT GROUP DELAY
Group delay errors in certain cable aerial systems can disturb the reception
of teletext. This is prevented by connection a filter in series with the CVBS
signal applied to the teletext decoder.
PR are programme numbers. If all programme numbers are 0, no filter has
been connected on any programme number.
If you wish to connect a filter on a programme number, select a PR line by

pressing

, then press
and finally press GO.
RESET TO DEFAULT
When this line is selected the settings will be defined.
- All TV and satellite programmes are cleared.
- The V.TAPE and AV sockets are set to NONE.
- In the PICTURE ADJUSTMENTS service menu the values for brilliance,
color and contrast are set to default.
- All programme lists are cleared.
- The AUTO TUNE setup menu (if there is no satellite receiver) will be
shown the first time the TV is switched on.
When RESET TO DEFAULT is selected a text PLEASE WAIT 30 SEC. is
displayed. While the text is displayed no operation must be done. When
the text disappears Service Mode is exited.
