low pressure settings and release any remaining air pressure in the circuit to zero (as shown on
the air pressure gauge) in order to ensure the safety and reliability of the system. To do this, pull
the "AIR CONTROL" knob out and turn anti-clockwise.
SPRAY GEL-TWIN / F hot/cold delivery with the red tube (hot) for the gel and with the blue tube (cold)
for the liquorish syrup product or similar products.
- See points A/B/C and 1/2/3 above to use the right-hand tube (hot).
- See points A/B/C and 3 above to use the left-hand tube (cold).
USING THE MACHINE (both versions)
One you've switched the machine on and prepared it (points: A/B/C and 1/2/3):
- remove the spray gun from its seat;
- fit the nozzle you want to use on the gun by unscrewing the fixing nut, inserting the nozzle and the
tightening the nut again.
The machine is now ready.
- Replace the gun in its seat when you've finished;
- turn the back-lit switch to "OFF". The light goes out and the machine is switched off;
- the green "READY" light also goes out. If using the hot spray gun, the machine automatically
stores the last temperature used in its memory;
- release any remaining compressed air from the circuit by turning the pressure control to zero (as
read on the pressure gauge);
- unplug the machine.
If you want to use compressed air without spraying any product, use the fast coupling fitting provided,
called "AIR" (see fig. 4), on the control panel (the main switch must be turned to "ON").
TIPS
To get the best uniform covering with gel:
- keep the spray gun nozzle about 5-10 cm from the product you want to coat; hold the gun upright
and at right-angles to the product;
- round nozzle: move the gun in circles over the product you want to coat;
- fan-shaped nozzle: move the gun up/down and across the product you want to coat.
TROUBLESHOOTING
- Uneven spray
This may be caused by:
a) insufficient compressed air pressure:
- use the "AIR CONTROL" knob to increase the pressure (see "AIR PRESSURE" gauge);
b) clogged or dirty nozzle. Clean the nozzle as follows:
- round nozzles: undo the screw inside and wash thoroughly with hot water;
- fan-shaped nozzles: wash thoroughly with hot water.
