3. Intended Use
Always observe the maximum load capacity of the magnet according to FX manual. The load limit
is determined by the carrying capacity of the magnet and the limitation by the workpiece according
to FX determined operating instructions and can signiicantly be below the mechanical maximum
capacity of the LT system.
3.1 General instructions before use
• Before each use, check the contact surfaces of both the magnet and that of the Workpiece. The contact
surfaces must be clean and lat ! (Also note the Operating Instructions for FX Lifting magnets)
• ALWAYS SAVE THE DETENT PINS WITH RELATED SPLINT!!!
3.2 Uses FX-LT Magnetic Truss
2 pieces FX (V) thin plate magnets with a slight distance Truss and a 2-strand chain slings allow the
loading and unloading of machines with plates from 4mm thickness, up to a Maximum dimension of
5000x2500mm. (Note Page 60)
The FX-LT lightweight Truss is particularly stable due to their customized design.
Note that the truss must be placed on the workpiece, the workpiece can be transported inherently rigid
and vibration free. Note this the diagrams below.

3.3 Conversion to single use of the FX lifting magnets
With a few simple steps it can be changed from the Truss application in the individual magnetic
application. For this remove the linch pin off the bolt and tighten the bolt. Pull the lifting magnets down
from the suspension of the distance Truss. Now the Lifting Magnet can be used as a default device. Note
that the linch pin and bolt must be inserted for every consignment.
CONSIDER LOAD TABLES AND THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FX LIFTING MAGNETS!!
4. MAINTENANCE
This maintenance schedule is in compliance with the rules for the FX-HV system, see page 22
