Questions and answers:

1. The operating panel is not illuminated.
Check whether the device is connected to the correct voltage supply, whether the mains plug has been
plugged in and whether the front cover of the device has been mounted correctly.
2. The message "Replace filter" is flashing.
The filter has reached its maximum operating hours. Replace the filter.
3. Why does the noise level increase during operation?
Too much dust has collected at the pre-filter. Clean the filter or replace it.
4. Why is there a high level of air contamination indoors?
Ensure that all doors and windows are closed. Check whether there are other sources of contamination.
5. Why is the effectiveness of the air purification steadily decreasing?
The device may have been used in an area with high dust concentration, which caused the filter to reach
its filter limit at an early stage already. Clean the pre-filter and/or replace the combi-filter.
6. Can the combi filter be cleaned?
Due to its complex structure, the combi filter cannot be cleaned. It is a disposable item.
7. What is the lifespan of the filter?
Under normal indoor conditions, the filter may be used for up to 12 months. When being used in rooms
with increased levels of contamination (particles, bacteria, viruses, etc.), the lifespan may be shorter.
8. Where can I purchase replacement filters and/or spare parts?
Contact your specialised dealer or Promed GmbH (www.promed.de)
Has the mains plug been removed from the socket?
- Insert the mains plug again.
Has the front cover been removed?
- Mount the front cover again
Is the device placed on a sloped surface?
- Place the device on even ground.
The air quality sensor may have been exposed to steam,
vapour and sprays. Place the device in a different, clean
environment to carry out another test. Remove the sensor cover
(C) and clean the sensor lens with a clean cotton swab.
Check the filter for damage or foreign particle deposits.
Remove the combi filter, let it dry thoroughly in fresh air
(without direct sun radiation). If there is no improvement,
replace the filter.
Clean the pre-filter. If there is no improvement, replace the filter.
The device is standing in an unsuitable location (recess or
corner). Change the location of the device or set the fan speed
to the highest level.
