9. Switching off
The instrument automatically switches to standby after 10 minutes without use, unless Auto OFF mode has
been turned off (see chap. 3)
You can force stand-by mode, by a long press (>2s) on
In stand-by mode, the value of the origin is retained by the sensor (SIS mode), and the instrument restarts
automatically by moving the cursor.
It is possible to switch the instrument off completely if not used for a long period of time, but this will need a
reset to zero when switched on (loss of origin):

10. Reinitializing the instrument
It is possible to restore the initial instrument settings at any time by a long simultaneous press (>4s) of the
button and the
