Electrical components

The power strips are integrated in the cable duct.
If you want to assemble yourself, please follow the respective installation instructions.
DANGER
Electrical shock!
Touching electrical components may result in a serious electric shock.
Only connect the electrical system to a power supply with protective conductor.

Cables lying around cause tripping hazards.
Keep passages clear of cables.

Route the cables so that they do not pose a risk of tripping.

Steelcase recommends to check the electrical components before the first use through a qulified
electrician.
The following electrical components are available as options:
• Plug and play power strip (2-pack) for powering a single bench configuration. Content: 2 multiplug
sockets, 1 connection block, 1 mains cable of 3 m length or 1 extension cable.
The power strips have 4 outputs:
− 2x socket, 1x USB and 1x free (HDMI, data)
or
− 3x socket and 1x free (HDMI, data)

Technical data of the power supply at the table as well as the USB connection:
− Voltage input: 230 V AC
− Frequency: 50Hz
− Power consumption (max. 16A): 3680 W
− USB-output: 5V, 3.1 A
− IP protection classes: IP 20
Supplying two benches over the same mains connection requires a connecting cable with a length of 2 m.
The electrical plug connections may never be plugged together or disconnected under tensile
stress.
CAUTION
Overload possible!
Use a maximum of 4 power strips / multiplug sockets on the same mains

connection.
