Operating principle

The applicator (applied part) provides a jet with a separation me-
dium. The separation medium is channeled from the pump car-
tridge through the instrument via the supply line. The required
pressure and jet shape of the jet are generated at the nozzle at
the distal end. In the case of applicators equipped with suction,
the vacuum generated in the suction container is directed via the
additional suction line to the tip of the instrument via which the
suctioned fluid is channeled into the collection container.

Unit settings

This chapter describes unit settings that may be used to operate
the product without causing damage.
5.1

Permitted settings on the ERBEJET 2

All effect levels of the ERBEJET 2 may be used. Please match the
effect and thus pressure of the water jet to the organ you are
working on.
5.2

Permitted settings on the external suction unit

The suction pressure at the external suction unit must not ex-
ceed a maximum of –800 mbar.
