CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always turn off the power before cleaning.
•
The hood and hob must be cleaned regularly to ensure optimal operation and long life.
•
Grease and dust residues accumulate in the filter and may ignite due to inadequate cleaning.
•
The hood should be cleaned both outside and inside.
DAILy CLEANING
•
Surfaces and glass plate are cleaned with a damp cloth with dish soap.
•
Varnished surfaces are cleaned with a damp cloth with sulfo / dishwashing detergent. NEVER use abrasives.
CLEANING THE FILTERS
Grease filters must be cleaned as needed. Thermex recommends that the filter be cleaned at least in the following intervals, depending on which
fat is used for frying:
•
Frying margarine filter is cleaned every 3 weeks
•
The liquid margarine filter is cleaned every 2 weeks
•
The oil filter is cleaned once a week
•
When frying - the filter is cleaned 2-3 times a week
HOW TO REMOVE AND CLEAN THE FILTER
•
Carefully pull the top part to the side so that the filter is visible.
•
Remove the grease filter by pulling on the filter locking mechanism, thereby releasing the filter from the hood.
•
Soak the filter in warm soapy water, and clean if necessary. with a soft brush.
•
Rinse with warm water.
•
Repeat the process if necessary.
•
Refit the filter.
•
Attach the top part.
The filter can also be washed in the dishwasher, but be aware that machine washing can result in discoloration of the filters. Discoloration of
the filters does not affect performance.
