6. Cleaning / Maintenance
Always disconnect the unit from the
compressed air supply before begin-

The Renfert deflasking chisel's motor is main-
tenance-free. Never use oil or grease on the
Renfert deflasking chisel. Occasionally clean
the exterior of the Renfert deflasking chisel with
a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
Never use cleansers containing
solvents!
6.1 Cleaning the Filter
Regularly (at least every month) examine the
filter in the connector fitting (Figure 7) and clean
it as required.
Use only Renfert filters!
Filter replacement (Figure 7):
• Roll away the O-ring seal
• Unscrew filter housing (hold up at the filter
housing with the screwdriver attached).
• Using an Allan key (SW 5 mm) unscrew the
sleeve.
• Remove the sieve together with the filter unit.
• Install a new piece of non-woven material
and sieve making sure to adhere to the cor-
rect sequence (Figure 7).
• Screw the sleeve back in and hand-tighten.
