TROUBLESHOOTING
Cause
Fan switch turned off.
Fan switch failed.
Motor failed.
The fan blade is jammed.
The motor is damaged.
Light bulb burnt.
Power cord loose.
House fuses blown.
Power cord loose or disconnected
One way valve and the outlet are
not tightly sealed
Leakage from the connection of
chimney and cover
The fan blade is damaged.
The fan motor is not fixed tightly.
The unit is not hung properly onto
the bracket.
Distance too large between the
unit and the cooking hob
The fixing screw not tight enough

Solution
Select a fan switch position.
Contact service center.
Contact service center.
Switch of the unit and repair by
qualified service personnel only.
Replace the bulb with correct
rating.
Plug in to the power supply again.
Reset/Replace fuses.
Refit cord to power outlet.
Switch power outlet on.
Take down the one way valve and
seal with sealant
Take chimney down and seal.
Switch of the unit and repair by
qualified service personnel only.
Switch the unit off and repair by
qualified service personnel only.
Take down the unit and check if
the bracket is in proper location.
Readjust the distance to
65-75cm ( 25.6 - 29.5 inch )
Tighten the hanging screw and
make it horizontal.
