Never look directly at the sun with
the binoculars. This may cause burn
injuries to the retina.
1. Binocular handling
1.1 Setting the eye distance
The distance between the eyes differs
between individuals. To achieve perfect
interaction between your eyes and the
binocular eyepieces hold the binoculars in
front of your eyes and adjust the space
between the two eyepieces by expanding or
contracting the two lenses until you get a
clear field of view.
1.2 Focussing
Set the dioptre adjustment (2) on the right
eyepiece to „0" and look through the lens at
a distant object. Then close your right eye
and set the focus for the left eye using the
centre adjustment ring (3). Then close your
left eye and focus the right using the dioptre
adjustment (1).
