9 Troubleshooting
I do not find anything when I scan for channels.
• Check that there is sufficient coverage in your
area (contact your local digital TV provider).
You can get better signal strength by connecting
a more powerful aerial to the aerial adaptor
provided.
• Check that the aerial has been connected
correctly. See section 3.
• Check that the correct country and device have
been selected. See section 4.2.
I find that there are lines on my TV image and/or
that the TV image quality is poor.
• This can be due to the video settings, which
can be configured, see section 6.3.
There are no subtitles on TV programmes.
• Check that the programme in question is
subtitled.
• Press button 13, see figure 1.
There are no subtitles on recorded TV
programmes.
• Presto! PVR does not support the recording of
"Dynamic subtitles" on channels which
transmit in Mpeg2 format.
Part of my TV recording is missing.
• Check whether you have enough space
available on your hard drive.
• Adjust "Auto cut file size", see section 6.4.2.
