Installation
• Make sure service has space to install connecting cables and has
easy access the unit.
• Vertical mounting required at ambient temperature > 35 °C
(circulation through ventilation holes).

Preparation

Take off cover

Insert cable tie for KNX cable

Standard mounting on standard rail TH 35-7.5

Mount standard rails

Attach web server to standard rails from above

Push down the web server until it locks

Screw on mounting on a level wall
Drill two holes for the screws  max. 3.5 mm

Tighten web server and make sure it is flat (warped housings are
not permitted)
Wiring and final mounting

Switch off KNX devices

Connect KNX cable, terminal 2: CE, terminal 3: CE

Tighten cable tie and cut off the remainder

Break out the notch from the cover

Replace the cover

Caution
• Web server connects automatically to the remote access portal as
soon as it has internet access via the Ethernet interface.
• Commissioning guide C5701 has information on the remote access
portal (www.siemens.com/ozw772-manual).
• Disabling the automatic connection to the portal and commissioning
without the portal is described in commissioning guide C5701.
Prerequisites
• Web server is mounted, wired, and connected to the Internet via the
Ethernet interface
• The connected Synco devices are commissioned.
• The Synco devices have a valid KNX address [1...253] and are
operational.
• Bus power supply to the KNX bus is turned on.
• The web server / a connected KNX device is the clock time master
on KNX.
• Operating voltage for the web server is switched on.
The web server is ready as soon as the On LED is green or orange.
PC/Laptop has the same or other Internet access.

addressing mode. Pressing the button again switching
