Setting the stroke type
Two stroke types can be selected:
Straight stroke and pendulum stroke.
Straight stroke
The saw performs horizontal movements only.
Particularly suitable for cutting metal If a very
good cross-section is required when sawing
wood, also use the straight stroke.
Pendulum stroke
The saw performs horizontal and vertical
movements (pendulum movements).
The stroke type is particularly suitable for
cutting wood quickly.
Fitting and changing the saw
support (SK 602 VV)
The product package includes two saw
supports: The standard saw support and
a pipe saw support.
Insert the respective saw support into
the opening on the front of the saw (1.).
Screw in the locking screw (2.).
To change the saw support before implemen-
ting steps (1.) and ( 2.), unscrew the locking
screw by turning it anti-clockwise and remove
saw support.
Overload protection
If an extremely brief overload occurs,
the overload protection prevents damage
to the motor by automatically switching
the device off.

If possible, clamp the workpiece to be cut
in a vice.
The saw has a saw support. This is used
to reduce vibrations. Also right-angled cuts
can be achieved.
After the power tool has been switched off,
the saw blade continues running briefly.
never take hold of the saw blade directly
after use, as it may be very hot.
Sawing metal
When sawing metal, apply lubricant along
the cutting line. This will prevent the material
from overheating.
