IMPORTANT: Do not pull the straps by the protective chest padding.
2. Press the button (B) and undo the belts. Position the belts to the side of the seat (5-B)
& (5-C).
3. Place your child on the car seat and do up the harness. Join the two connectors of the
buckle and slide them into the central buckle. It will click when it is closed correctly ( 5-D).
4. Pull the strap adjustment belt (C) to correctly adjust belt tension based on your child's
build. Ideally the harness should be adjusted so that there is space for one finger (1 cm)
between the harness and your child's body ( 5-E).
ATTENTION! The hip belt must be positioned as low as possible over your child's pelvis.
ATTENTION! Do not twist or turn the chest belts inside out (5-F).

6. INSTALLATION IN THE CAR

6.1 Using the Smart Fix
Read the instructions for use of the child restraint system illustrated in the vehicle manual
and identify the ISOFIX anchoring points on the vehicle seat.
Recommendations: The ISOFIX anchoring points are located between the base and the
backrest of the vehicle seat.
1. Insert the two "Smart Fix" guides into their respective lower ISOFIX anchoring points
(6-A/6-B). The Smart Fix guides simplify installation of the "Smart Fix" connectors,
preventing possible damages to the seat cover.
2. Pull the Smart Fix extension levers, placed on both sides of the car seat base,
and completely extend both arms of the "Smart Fix" connectors (6-C).
3. Align the Smart Fix connectors in the designated guides, attach them to the
corresponding anchoring points on the vehicle's seat until you hear two clicks, then check
that the Smart Fix indicator on each side has turned green (6-D).
4. Pull the "Smart Fix" extension lever while simultaneously pushing the car seat as far
back as possible. Make sure the rear part of the car seat is resting firmly against the
vehicle's backrest (6-E).
IMPORTANT: Complete the installation using the car's safety belts, following the
Instructions given for each child weight group.
Slide the "Smart Fix" release buttons located on either side to release the Smart Fix
connectors from the ISOFIX anchoring points.
6.2 Installing the car seat for group 1, for children weighing between 9 and 18 kg
1. Follow the instructions from paragraph 6.1 to attach the car seat to the anchoring points
of the vehicle's seat via the "Smart Fix" connectors.
2. Overlap about 80 cm of the diagonal belt to a section of the lap belt of the same length.
Insert this overlain 3-point seat belt (diagonal belt and lap belt) into the seat belt loop (6-F;
6-G) between the shell and the fabric, and fasten the buckle (6-H); a click will indicate that
it has been fastened. Verify that the seat belt is not twisted, tighten the belt by pulling the
waist strap and reintroduce the un-tensioned part of the belt into the retractor.
3. Secure the baby with the 5-point harness as illustrated in paragraph 5 (6-I).
