WARNING Risk of electrocution. Contacting both
power conductors, at the same time, can
cause electricshock, resulting in death, bodily
injury, and/or property damage. Connect only
to a properly grounded outlet. DO NOT remove ground
pin from plug. Inspect cord before each use, DO NOT
use if cord is damaged. Keep all connections dry and
off the ground. DO NOT touch plug with wet hands.
The product is provided with a ground fault circuit
interrupter built into the power cord plug. If replacement
of the plug or cord is needed, use only identical
replacement parts.
You will need:
• Utility knife • Needle nose pliers • Garden hose, 50 feet (15m) or less • Safety goggles (indirect vented type)
Unpack pressure washer
1.
Remove everything from carton except pressure washer.
2.
Ensure you have all included items prior to assembly. If items are
damaged or missing, call 1-800-743-4115.
3.
Open carton completely by cutting each corner from top to bottom.
Assemble Pressure Washer
1.
Place handle (a) on top of pressure washer with red handle above
power cord and hole in handle aligned with the screw holes in the
back of the pressure washer.

2.
Using 4 supplied allen screws (b), attach handle to pressure washer
with provided 4mm allen wrench. Tighten until screws are snug.
3.
Lift top cord yoke holder (A) and snap into position.
4.
To release top cord yoke holder, lift up on red switch (B).
5.
GFCI cord end stores in the compartment (C) on the bottom of your
pressure washer.

6.
Unfold crank handle knob by lifting until it snaps in place. Slide out
arm from the housing.

7.
To store the handle, pull knob outward and fold down the handle
knob fully to depress the release button.Then slide the arm back into
the reel housing.

Quick Start Guide
1800 MAX PSI* Pressure Washer
WARNING Risk of eye injury. Spray can splash back
or propel objects. Always wear indirect vented
(chemical splash) safety goggles, marked
to comply with ANSI Z87.1 when using or
in vicinity of this equipment. NEVER substitute safety
glasses or dry-condition goggles for indirect vented
safety goggles.
WARNING High pressure water spray can cut
through skin. Never spray people or animals,
as injury can result. Spray gun traps high
water pressure, even when engine is stopped
and water is disconnected. ALWAYS point spray gun in
safe direction, press red button and squeeze spray gun
trigger, to release high pressure, every time you stop
engine.

Connect Hose and Water Supply
1.
Reel high pressure hose out of hose reel.
2.
Remove and discard shipping cap from garden hose inlet
connection using a needle nose pliers.
3.
Confirm water inlet screen (D) is installed.
4.
Clean screen if it contains debris or have it replaced if damaged.
NOTICE If inlet screen is damaged or missing, DO NOT use pressure
washer, call 1-800-743-4115.
5.
Run cold water through garden hose for 30 seconds to clean out any
debris. Garden hose length must not exceed 50 feet (15m). Turn off
water supply and attach garden hose (E) to water inlet (F). Tighten by
hand.

6.
Inspect cleaning solution tank (G). Pull a cleaning tank out from the
side of the unit by grasping the formed handle in the tank and pulling
out the handle side.
NOTICE DO NOT disconnect hose attached to bottom of cleaning tank.
7.
Open snap-fit cap on cleaning tank and fill the tank with prepared
detergent solution. A small funnel may help with this task.
8.
Press cleaning tank lid back down onto tank opening.
9.
Fit cleaning tank back into opening. First, fully insert the side that is
attached to the pressure washer. Second, press in the handle side
until it snaps in place.
10.
Attach quick connect high pressure hose (H) to spray gun (d) by
pulling back sleeve on hose coupler and install to gun fitting. Release
sleeve. Tug on connection to be sure it is securely attached.
Start Pressure Washer
1.
Put on safety goggles.
WARNING: Risk of eye injury. Spray can splash back or propel

using or in vicinity of this equipment. NEVER substitute
safety glasses or dry-condition goggles for indirect vented safety
goggles.
2.
Turn on water.
3.
Point gun in safe direction. Press the red button (J) and squeeze
trigger to purge all air, and release trigger.
4.
Attach HI/LO spary wand (e) or turbo spray wand (f) to spray gun
(d) by aligning the locking tabs into the grooves in the gun. Push
extension inward and twist clockwise to lock in place. Tug on
connection to be sure it is securely attached.
5.
Rotate the ON/OFF switch (K) to the OFF position.
6.
Rotate the dual soap tank control knob (L) to the center position (no
soap application).

7.
Release stored power cord from the yoke on the back of the pressure
washer by pulling upward on the red sliding lock (B) and then folding
down the upper arm of the yoke.
8.
Plug power cord into an electrical circuit rated for 120 Volts AC at
15 Amps that has been installed in accordance with local safety
regulations. The red indicator (M) on the GFCI should appear.
WARNING Risk of electrocution.Non-operating ground fault
circuit interrupter (GFCI) can result in death, or bodily
injury, and/or property damage. If RED light does not stay
on after test and reset, do not use GFCI.
9.
Press TEST button (N). RED indicator light should go out.
10.
Press RESET button (P). GFCI indicator light should turn RED.
NOTICE DO NOT use pressure washer if above test fails, call
1-800-743-4115.
11.
Move master ON/OFF switch (K) to the ON position.
12.
Point gun in a safe direction, press trigger lock and squeeze trigger.
Pressure washer motor will start and stop as spray gun trigger is
depressed and released.
13.
Slide
HI/LO nozzle backward (Q) to achieve high pressure. Slide
HI/LO nozzle forward (R) when you wish to adjust spray to low
pressure mode.

14.
Twisting
HI/LO nozzle adjusts spray pattern from a fan pattern (S) to
a narrow pattern (T).
15.
Slide
HI/LO nozzle forward in low pressure mode to apply soap.
Detergent cannot be applied with nozzle in high pressure position.
16.
Turn the variable control knob (K) to the right to increase the
concentration of soap from the right tank into the pressure
spray. Turn the variable control knob to the left to increase the
concentration of soap mixed into the pressure spray from the left
A
tank. Center the control knob to prevent the flow of soap into the
pressure spray.

Stop Pressure Washer
1.
Release spray gun trigger.
2.
Move unit's master ON/OFF switch to OFF position.
NOTICE Releasing the trigger will shut off the motor but does not shut
off electrical power to the unit.
3.
Turn off water supply.
4.
ALWAYS point spray gun in a safe direction, press red button and
squeeze spray gun trigger to relieve built up pressure in the unit.
5.
Disconnect GFCI plug from outlet and coil power cord.
6.
Disconnect garden hose.
7.
Disconnect hose from gun. Reel high pressure hose onto hose reel
for storage.
8.
For long term storage, see "Preparing Unit for Storage" in
Maintenance section of Operator's Manual.
9.
Remove safety goggles.
