All parameters an their setting ranges for the individual battery types are summarised in
the table overleaf.
Operating Instructions
Power Peak ® Twin EQ-BID
By activating the "TRICKLE CHARGE" line, NiCd and NiMH
batteries can be kept fully charged in Normal, Linear and
Reflex modes using a low current charge regulated in 50
mA steps. The range lies between 0 and 500 mA for these
battery types. If the charge parameters are stored on the
BID-Chip/Key, a trickle charge of C/20 will be used.
The setting "TCS CAPACITY" (TCS = Terminal Capacity
Selection) is a maximum capacity charge cut-off. During
the charge process, the battery will be charged to a pre-set
percentage capacity and then there is an audible warning
that the battery has reached this percentage. Thereby,
drastically shortening the charge time for Lithium batteries.
The second screen "TCS END ACT." is used to decide
what happens when the set charge capacity percentage is
reached. There are two options:
CONTI.: The battery will be continue to be charged until it
is fully charged.
STOP: The charge process will be completely stopped.
