Operating Instructions
Power Peak ® Twin EQ-BID
Use the "DEC" or "INC" buttons to activate the column
to define the number of cells connected in series of the
battery:
In the column to define the battery capacity, press the
"DEC" or "INC" button to set the battery capacity in 100
mAh steps.
• NC / NiMH
• Lithium
• Pb / lead
Using the "STORE MODE" program, Lithium batteries can
be brought to a defined voltage suitable for winter storage.
For all Lithium batteries, a shut-off of 60% of the set battery
capacity is suitable. The battery parameter should there-
fore be carefully set.
The charge current can be set in 100 mA steps in the range
from 0.1 A to 20 A in the "CHG" line. Follow precisely the
instructions provided by the battery manufacturer.
After activating the "DCHG" line using the "DEC" and "INC"
buttons, the discharge current can be set in 100 mA steps
in the range from 0.1A to 10A.
A Delta-Peak sensitivity can be set for NC and NiMH bat-
teries.
• Nickel-Cadmium battery (NiCd):
• Nickel-Metal-Hydride battery (NiMH):
"ZERO pk" can also be set for NiMH batteries.
This allows a very low Delta-Peak sensitivity to be used (2
mV/Cell).
Pressing the "DEC"- or „INC"- buttons, the discharge
voltage per cell, dependent on battery type, can be set in
0.1 V steps.
