"MODE" -BUTTON

This button navigates through the main menus in the following sequence:
• Battery select and charge/discharge parameter programming (MEMORY VIEW) or dis-
play of the BID-Chip/Key data, when a BID-Chip/Key (BID-SYSTEM) is connected.
• Basic settings (USER SETTINGS)
• Charge-/ discharge data of the current charge procedure (DATA VIEW)
• Charge-/ discharge data of the cycling process (CYCLE VIEW)
• View of the cell voltage of a Lithium-battery during the equalizing process(BALANCER
VIEW)
"ESC" BUTTON
• Calls the main menus in reversed sequence (continuous sequence)
• Serves to de-activate the parameter.
• Acknowledges an error message.
• Holding the button continuously ends the active charge/discharge process.
"Ch"-BUTTON
• Switches the display between both outputs OUT 1 and 2.
• The values for each output can be displayed separately whilst programming, as well as
during a charge process.

USING ThE ChARGER FOR ThE FIRST TIME

Observing correct polarity, connect the Power Peak ® Twin EQ-BID using the gold banana
connected to one output compared to the other. E.g., dividing 80% to output 1 and 20% to
output 2 allows a higher charge current to be set for output 1.
Once the correct parameters have been entered press the 'ESC' button to continue to the
main screens for outputs 1 or 2.
Operating Instructions
Power Peak ® Twin EQ-BID
connectors (use the crocodile clips for a car battery) to a
suitable 11-28 V DC power supply. The Home display will
now appear. The User Name and software version in ope-
ration will be shown next to the robbe logo and the device
name. A short device self-test will also be made.
After this, the Input Power Display will appear. This allows
you to set the maximum voltage available from the power
source and to adjust the charger to the maximum perfor-
mance without overloading the source. Additionally, the
power can be set as a percentage for each of the charger
outputs (channels). This is useful when, for example, a
battery power pack with a higher cell count and capacity is
