SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE BATTERY AND
CHARGER
• Never attempt to open or disassemble for any reason.
• Do not expose the battery and/or charger to water or
rain
• Keep the battery away from other metal objects while
not in use.
• Avoid contact if the battery ejects any liquid and ven-
tilate the working area if it emits any kind of vapors.
• Do not use the cord to carry the charger or to unplug
it from power supply.
• Do not use a charger with a damaged cord.
Charging
• Charge only at ambient temperatures between 10 °C
and 40 °C
• Do not charge inside a box or container of any kind.
The battery must be placed in a well-ventilated area
during charging.
• Do not overcharge the battery. Once the battery is fully
charged, disconnect the charger from the power.
Storage
• If the appliance is to be stored unused for a long pe-
riod, the batteries should be removed from the tool.
• Do not store in locations where the temperature may
exceed 40 °C.
Transport and disposal
• Place the battery inside the package in a way it re-
mains fixed in the same position and it cannot move.
• Do not dispose the power tools and batteries into hou-
sehold waste!
• Consult your local authorities concerning the transport
and disposal options.
ASSEMBLY OF THE BATTERY
CAUTION! Make sure the power tool is turned off be-
fore inserting or removing the battery pack.
Battery charging
NOTE: Before the first use, newly purchase battery packs
are not fully charged, and must be charged before inserting
them to the cordless tool.
1. If the Lithium-Ion battery is empty, the power tool auto-
matically switches off by means of a protective circuit.
2. Do not continue to press the On/Off button after the
automatic shutdown of the power tool.
Installing the battery
1. Align the raised ribs on the battery pack with the slots
at the bottom of the power tool.
2. Slide the battery pack
into the tool.
3. Make sure the latches on each side of the battery pack
snap in place and securely attach to the tool.
Removing the battery
1. Press the battery
release button.
2. Pull the battery pack out
towards the rear of the power
tool without making any force.
CHARGING WITH DIAGNOSTIC CHARGER
1. Connect the battery charger into the AC power supply.
2. Slide the raised ribs on the battery pack into the slots
on the charger until the latches on each side of the
battery pack snap in place.
3. Once the battery is properly attached, the LED's on
the charger will light up indicating the charging status.
There are 5 different color combinations possible:
Steady red light
Steady red light
+ flashing green
light
Steady red light
+ steady green
light
Flashing red light
Red and green
light flashing
alternatively
NOTE! In case of "defective" status, try removing and
inserting the battery again into the charger, and do the
same with another new battery. If the same status remains,
it may be the case that the defective item is the charger
and not the battery.
4. Press the latches on each side of the battery pack and
slide it off from the charger to remove it.
5. Disconnect the charger from the power supply.

BATTERY POWER INDICATOR

NOTE! You can press the power indicator button to check
the battery status. If all lights are ON, battery pack is fully
charged.
