Dear User, this instruction manual is intended to help you deal with any problems you may encounter when using
this equipment. Alfa Laval recommends you to study it carefully, and to make it readily available to any personnel
who would normally install, operates and maintains the equipment.
Warranty conditions
This equipment is designed to operate properly and to the rated capacity when installed in accordance with
accepted industry standards. Failure to meet the following conditions could render the system warranty null and
void:
System piping must be installed in accordance with recognized industry standards and practices.

Inert gas must be charged into piping during welding.
•
The system must be thoroughly leak-checked before initial charging.
•
Electrical connections must comply with the following conditions:
•
Voltages must not exceed ±5% of nameplate ratings. Frequency 50-60 Hz.
Factory installed wiring must not be changed without Alfa Laval's written approval
•
Alfa Laval will not be responsible for any equipment failures which occur due to failure to consult this manual
properly or to the misinterpretation of the instructions it contains.
Should defects be detected in the unit, the manufacturer must be informed immediately so that the manufacturer
can contribute to the elimination of the defects.
In case of damage during transportation, the transportation company and AL (or one of its agents) must be
informed immediately, in writing, on the delivery note (CRM). In addition, the customer should send a written
report, with accompanying pictures, describing the damage in detail.
These operating instructions are valid for standard units. For custom-made units it is only conditionally valid. In
this case, the manufacturer must be consulted.
THE TECHNICAL INFORMATION SUPPLIED AND OTHER MINOR CHANGES CAN BE MODIFIED WITHOUT
NOTIFICATION.
