See Figure 4, page 10.
Your hybrid saw is equipped with a lock-out lever to help
prevent accidental starting of the trigger.
To activate the trigger:
Tilt the lock-out lever toward the tool.
Squeeze the trigger firmly against the tool body.
GENERAL CUTTING
See Figure 5, page 10.
Hold the hybrid saw firmly in front of and clearly away from
you. Make sure saw blade is clear of any foreign material.
Be sure material to be cut is held firmly. Small work pieces
should be securely clamped in a vise or with clamps to the
work bench or table. Mark the line of cut clearly. Push the
lock-out lever forward and squeeze the trigger to start the
cutting action. Place the base assembly against the work, then
move the blade into the work. Do not force. Use only enough
pressure to keep the saw cutting. Let the blade and saw do
the work. Use of excessive pressure that causes bending or
twisting of the blade may result in broken blades.
SCROLL CUTTING
See Figure 6, page 10.
Scroll cuts can be made with the hybrid saw by guiding the
direction of the cut with applied pressure on the handle as
shown.
