Always keep the blade clean and free of material residue.
The guide runner (2) must not become wedged during cutting and must be
aligned parallel to the cutting surface.
Improper use of the blade will cause it to become blunt.
Thin materials, such as fabrics, can be pulled into the power tool during cut-
ting and become wedged. To avoid this, do not push too hard when working
with these materials, in order to ensure an optimal cut. Keep the material
taut whilst cutting and cut slowly.
Optimal cutting results are best achieved through practice.

Maintenance and Service

Maintenance and Cleaning

Keep the cutting adapter clean to ensure good, safe operation.
u
Remove the cutting adapter from the screwdriver to clean it. There is
u
risk of injury from unintentionally pressing the on/off switch.
Be careful when cleaning the blade and counter blade. The blades
u
have sharp edges which you can injure yourself on.
During cutting, material residues may collect under the protective guard.
– Regularly clean the protective guard (3) with a brush.
